1.7.3 should be out this week to fix problems with pistons. Bukkit has kept up, so that will be quickly updated.

Yea bukkit's website warns that 1.7.2 *will* ruin the economy apparently so prolly best to keep waiting.

Well, by that they mean there's an exploit bug in producing pistons, I believe. Since we have give enabled, I'm so sure it's a huge deal for us. However, people are saying placing pistons causes a slew of errors.

There is news of 1.7.3 for Thursday, so let's wait and see. Otherwise, if people are itching, I suppose I could get a blocklist and block pistons.

Try now. I restarted the server, and it was consuming an ungodly amount of RAM, almost 5gigs, for some reason.

I'm going to use a piston-blocking plugin, and update the server, and see how that goes, until tomorrow when the fix is supposed to drop.
You can still craft them for some reason, but you can't place them. Need to update the give file too sometime.

You mean our google maps one, or the in game one? The google one should update whenever the next refresh is, and I think in game ones are client mods, unless I'm mistaken.

Bonkers, I just tried logging in and the server was going crazy, was giving me timeout errors when I tried logging on. Possibly due to 1.7.2, so I had to restart it again. I'll keep an eye on it.

So if you're a CMF you should have "/give" enabled? I tried it just for kicks the other day and no love.

That text file is out of date though. Only difference is basically map (358) and shears (359).

I was actually looking at the console and it started overflowing when you tried logging in. Are you running anything custom, and were you fine before I updated to 1.7.2?

1.7.3 client is compatible with 1.7.2 server version, so go ahead and update. I'll unblock pistons sometime today.

nothing custom, started giving me problems in 1.6 so i downloaded adventure craft. i can only play single player
captgeno is also having problems, but he hasn't tried today.

it keeps telling me: internal exception:java.netSocketTimedOutException:ReadTimedOut.....it actually loaded the screen for a second then just froze

I'll look into it. It only happens when you join, and then it kills the server.

Can you download a fresh copy and try connecting.
